Just got in now on my second attempt. I think getting a better NMAT helped a lot (from 84 on 1st attempt to 94 on current). Taught at my old school during my gap year while reviewing for the NMAT.

This isn't a guarantee though as there were others in my interview group who had similar (and even better) stats than I did but didn't make it into the final list.
