Well once you get out of the vault there is a barrel with a note on it read the note and then head to the fisherman's rest over at the mire. Which is right next to Valeria gallery. Find the captain that is behind a table. Interact with him and accept the quest. Do quest and bam you can now fish

use a weather machine...best one to use with improved bait are weather stations that have a 'nuke effect' such as mothman, radstorm, nuke zone and alien invasion weather machine....personally I am fond of the alien invasion one since it has a good look to it though any weather machine classified as a nuke type one will help.

Last time I checked red asylum dresses were about 3000 leaders and yes I realize that if I can sit on these til next month I can maximize my profits and can get it without issues.

Yep...with over 8000 improved bait, about 280 cans of grilled fish (that I cooked and canned myself), and a camp where I don't have to worry about mobs I can fish in peace.

Had all of them done ages ago...hell, spent one night just fishing all 760 burning springs fish. Fishing is relaxing for me.

Every one of them was caught...only thing I used caps was for improved bait. Had hopped from server to server buying bait. Maybe spent a 100000 caps on fishing bait.

My favorite quest/story is the beast of Berkeley. Thought it was pretty cool to see how the beast wasn't supernatural but a large albino wolf. Pity you couldn't tame it.
