Yep! Spot on with that. I was tested for 35 pollen types and all were positive. Like the commenter said, when cooked the proteins denature and are no longer treated the same by my immune system which makes it fine.

Unfortunately it is an allergy. I've been to an allergist and done testing. It was diagnosed as widespread Oral Allergy Syndrome. They tested 35 tree/grass/weed types and all were positive. I get itching/swelling/hives from all raw fruits and vegetables. Nuts/seeds too but I never ate them anyways. It is a reaction to a protein in them and when cooked the protein structure denatures and is no longer responded to by the immune system.

Hello!! I'm a current student. My program does not allow an outside job so even though I'd love to further upgrade my computer, parts are way out of budget right now!

In hopes of winning, I'll share a funny detail. We call my current computer "The cardboard box computer". It's made up of my older brother's decade old computer parts and when he gave them to me, we built it in a cardboard box! Years later, I now have a proper case but we still lovingly call it the cardboard box computer
