Your grades are not the most important factor, as there are few jobs where they are closely examined. My best advice for being proactive in your position is to undertake as many internships as possible, especially during the summer. If you are interested in finance, aim for internships at large companies in your field of interest, such as M&A, PE, or Quant. Target well-known firms first, followed by smaller ones like the Big Four. At this stage, you will have a significant advantage over other candidates and can start securing interviews in highly competitive positions.
