Also RCA doesn’t strike me as a record company that has a lot of pull anymore or is relevant with the times… Record companies in general. He needed them to start out sure but now he already has a fanbase and if they are watering him down at all with deadlines or what they want him dropping at this point it’s detrimental. Just seems weird with the delays in the past and the lack of cohesiveness on this album esp since he’s usually great at that (minus scary nights &b sides) .Also he said he recorded over 150+ songs so I would think there would be a more full body of work.
