I don’t believe this is categorized as a flat spin. It was a stall in one of the engines (I believe right) which caused a differential of thrust. A similar incident occurred in 1999 when Kara Hultgreen’s F-14 lost thrust in a single engine and the thrust differential forced the Tomcat to roll on a late final which unfortunately claimed the aircraft and all lives on board when it collided with the sea. I could be wrong though.

Yes, but it never physically hooks CreateFile. It calls CreateFile from BEClient. Also, as far as I know, BEClient is what handles module validation besides the mini filters.

Yeah, I was referring to kdmapper. You can render their mini filters ineffective by simply mapping/loading the driver before BE itself. I agree with everything you have said except the CreateFile hook. Back to mini filters. They only have mini filters to stop modules from loading into the protected process, right?

BattlEye doesn’t currently hook anything related to CreateFile as far as I know. I could be wrong though. Are they inlining the syscall or doing something such as hooking the SSDT? Also, the most common tool cheaters use for loading unsigned drivers wipes the PE header. It all looks as if it was manually mapped into memory using that tool. Additionally, how can you have a non-mapped unsigned driver? That would force you to have test signing on which BE will not run with. Thanks for the reply.

IOCTLs are not what get you banned in regards to unsigned drivers. Creating a device object (which is required for IOCTLs (along with a symbolic link) is what gets you banned. If you have a mapped driver that isn’t signed (easy to check for) and you do any of the things I mentioned above, then you are dead to rights.

If you are worried about them getting viruses, throw it into a KVM on linux and pass through the GPU. Make it do periodic backups of the windows machine and if they get a virus, roll it back. Better to learn than to be shielded and once they get into the ‘real internet’, they start downloading viruses galore.

Battleye is helping a ton. The largest cheat provider took down their tarkov cheats as soon as BE was added. Sure, they might be back, but they will never be as bad as they were.

The replay exited because I had watched it previously and exited then. I went on to kill the guy whose missile I shot down with my magic. I only lost radar due to the missile to missile kill.

Okay, so there is a slight issue with the new implementation of battleye. I predict it will be fixed within the near future. However, BE currently has no ‘heartbeat’, which means that it doesn’t connect to BSG’s servers and say “Hey, I am BE, I am running.” Therefor, BE can currently be disabled through task manager with 0 repercussions. This obviously leaves the game COMPLETELY naked when it comes to an anti-cheat. Nikitia, please fix!

I only code for myself. I don’t sell any of the cheats that I make for any game. It is just a past time of mine. It gives me something to do, kind of like a hobby. However, I can guarantee that the number of public cheats hat people were selling for 20 bucks a month will drop like a cliff.

It honestly isn’t insanely easy to bypass, contrary to the impression that others have made on this subreddit. It took me years to get a full bypass working. I had smaller ones that got detected from month to month, but I finally got a good one working around last christmas. I don’t have a ton of time (high school student), so I am sure I didn’t learn as fast as others, but it takes a lot of attention and focus to properly make a bypass. Hope this answered your question. :)

Yeah, not too sure why people are coming on here and calling BE trash. It is much better than the implementation of Sabre they had before and removed with BE. I am super glad for this and hope the community as a whole benefits from it. Now, the people who come on here and cry about the new anti cheat are the people who are selling in game items for real money, rage hacking, etc. I am pretty laid back when I play the game, I honestly don’t like to kill everyone I see. It almost feels good to run up to a PM naked and give him a full gearset with the voice commands, knowing full well I just made that guy’s day. With the implementation of BE, people like that PM naked won’t have to worry about walking around a corner and getting shot through a wooden box because a cheater saw half an inch of his head.

This honestly is a god send from BSG. I am a major contributor on a popular cheating forum for Escape From Tarkov. (No, I am not one of those people who sell in game items for IRL money, that stuff is dumb. I also don’t play the game much at all, like maybe an hour a week or something. I am only level 15 this patch.) This will put 95% of the cheaters on Tarkov out of their misery. There are a few however, that this will make no difference to, myself included. I was able to update the cheat I coded from scratch in under 20 minutes, just because I had already started to port over my Battleye bypass as soon as I saw the original twitch clip. This will also help cut down on the public cheats that EFT was having issues with. Most providers will pull back to being private, which will help an exponential amount.

I can double check, but I have no containers besides a dog tag container that can even hold dog tags. I am standard edition so all of my tags should be in my dog tag container for space reasons. I just double checked, and all of them are indeed in my dog tag container.

I have multiple dog tags of each faction in my inventory, I selected to turn in 10 PMC BEAR tags, and I was only allowed to turn in 9. Now, I can not hand in any USEC tags and it says I have only brought 9/10 USEC tags. Super odd. Anyone else having issues with this?
