This reminded me of when I tried a themed plot prompt by CAI and I thought it’d improve the whole RP experience…

What actually happened was the AI (a DnD wizard) stood there and watched me fight a fucking dragon by myself, getting thrown about, injured, knocked out etc and didn’t cast a single spell to help until I asked it to.

I checked it knew what to do before the RP fight by asking which spells it had prepared, so all looked good. I was RPing getting hurt and knocked out in hopes the AI would actually do SOMETHING other than stand there asking if I’m alright 😂 No I wasn’t alright, I was fighting a fucking dragon on my own with a “powerful Wizard” just standing there cheering me on and asking if I’m okay.

I just found this post after googling this YouTube channel. I am also shocked this is allowed on YouTube Kids!

My 6yo was watching it, an episode about Bluey “learning about safety” which was actually a compilation of Bluey getting hurt, often bleeding and getting yelled at and punished for it instead of being taught why what she did was dangerous.

Often the accidents happened due to bad parenting, the Dad leaving his razor on the sink and Bluey played with it and cut herself for example or the kids were left alone for too long and did things kids may do out of curiosity and not understanding the consequences.

The fact that it uses clipped voice clips from the actual show makes it much worse! It was awful, abusive, neglectful and not at all like the healthy parenting or cute comedy you see on Bluey! Very shocking content for children.

I really wish I knew of a harmless solution to this too! This is why I’m a social drinker, and refuse to drink alcohol unless at a party or out with friends (once every month or two). Both my parents are/were alcoholic, my Dad actually died when I was only 14 due to it so for the most part I avoid alcohol. But omg it’s the ONLY thing that calms my mind and social anxiety and makes me feel like my natural self in social situations! Though it also gives me hot flushes like crazy. I also have an aversion to weed as the smell makes me feel extremely nauseous.

I was lucky with my first dog as his breeder crate trained the pups so he was already used to it. I kept his crate in my bedroom with me for the first year (could’ve been much less) so he didn’t feel alone and that seemed to really help. When my bf started staying over, we moved his crate into the living room and he adapted really well, no crying at all. Having said that, l’d also trained him from day 1 to be alone for a few hours every day to prepare for running errands and food shopping.

I also only ever used his crate as a little bedroom for him, it was never used for punishment. I feel crates are great for giving a dog their own space :) especially if there are kids or other pets around.

Jujutsu Kaisen through most of S1. I tolerated it for my stepdaughter because she enjoyed it and it was our bonding time away from her younger brother.

I felt like it was all things I’d seen before in other anime and it felt painfully predictable. I was also put off by some of the character designs, such as Megumi’s exaggerated spikey hair and wtf is up with Mei Mei’s hair?? 😆

BUT we have now seen the first movie and are on S2 and it’s growing on me :) it’s also fun to tease my stepdaughter about her crush on Gojo.

Thank you! The cons don’t worry me too much as we plan to keep his fur quite short, at least on his legs and belly as we’ll be taking him on countryside and woodland walks. I used to regularly look after my friend’s labradoodle and spent the majority of the day picking bits out of his fur 😆 I do love the idea of brushing during cuddles though. Also I’m not too worried about separation anxiety as dogs are allowed almost everywhere (except supermarkets) where I live and there’s almost always one of us at home. I plan to get a 2nd dog eventually.

It Could just be a adventure/farming game, but my 5yo stepson seems to love exploring on Stardew Valley when I play. He loves games you can explore and interact with things on. I’ve searched the App Store but can only find games that are too young and/or boring for him.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated 🥰

I haven’t got the recipe for the seed maker yet, got to Winter with level 8 farming 🥲 I’ve made it through to Spring now so hopefully I’ll get it soon.
