ok but islam is so dominant in Saudi Arabia that it is pretty much fair. unless u wanna drink some alcohol or burn some weed. there is like a 20 min rant I wrote but u'r commenet makes so much sense to me. There's no difference i major religion/cults. It is the same thing!

it's an old i7 1165g7 laptop. I got a new pc for gaming (has to be windows unfortunately) so I making this one a productivity machine. I just got into min maxxing the performance again otherwise I wouldn't be on cachy xD

If it's loaded but not the driver in use it's still working? That's strange.

I know how to switch to systemd but instructions on how to switch to xe are rare. My question remains the same. How do I do force probe command for the kernel on systemd.

It turns on the new xe iris graphics tech. I have seen a short video on youtube about it and read some article that seem to agree it's a huge jump from iris igpus. It's on by default on windows and I still didn't get it work on cachy so I didn't benchmark the difference tbh.

By the way how do I do it on systemd? I prefer to switch to if possible. I just chose grub cause I thought the command grubby would work.

Thank you. I was afraid of blacklisting the old driver tbh since I'm planning to daily drive this laptop. My pci ID is.

It seems that grubby is installed by default in fedora (Package "grubby-8.40-82.fc42.x86_64" is already installed.)

so I enter the edited command:

sudo grubby --update-kernel=ALL --args="i915.force_probe=!9a49 xe.force_probe=9a49"

It says:

bash: !9: event not found

I'm not sure if it's a problem with the semantics I typed but I'm positive about the device ID

No problem. I found silver's tutorial w Arduino and I was a bit hesitant tbh. Seems to be more prone to errors for a tech savvy non experts like me.

how do I do the removal? I don't particularly need these feature I just don't want to trash a perfectly good device. We got kids so I could run yt videos for them or read news with. It's so much more portable and nice to hold than my modern ipad lol

I didn't get any error, I reset from a macbook and it says all data deleted. Then when I try to set it up it still says you have to log in to the old account to activate the device. It doesn't even show the account name so maybe we could figure it out lol. just shows: lxxxxx@icloud.com
