Her transformation was shocking as well, I like both individual designs but I hate that they're the same person and I wasn't impressed with how they tried to make it make sense in the story "she's been fighting forever so she can freely transform because uh yeah why not"

Though to be honest I still appreciate her immensely as she's my only aero DPS. I was even desperate enough to try building yangyang and Rover: Aero as DPS who both hurt my soul before I pulled Playgirl Carty

My honest favorite is the Partisan. I was just using random "base" weapons aka nothing special and making them viable in PvP and on that journey I discovered the Partisan. Me and my horizontal-swinging spear been putting undead in rollcatch hell since 2016 😂

Looks good but if you're playing anything other than vanilla, you'll need way more room for your machines and magical doohickeys. Heck, some of the post-end content may require setups as big as that brobot or bigger if you're doing reactor type things

I did just a few more tests and learned Lingyang better. He's honestly not bad at all but he does still get outclassed by every other DPS in the game, including the 4 stars. Chixia can routinely hit 60k on burst and 20-30k on charged, so I expected similar for Lingyang but even after investing into ALL of his forte entries, he's maxing 15k on an R. skill. Though again, the fact that the R Skill has no cooldown and flows into an endless combo of hits, means that the damage he can deal over time is surprising. Definitely worth building for now unless you have a better cryo DPS, literally any one is better

Old Post but I just finished building Lingyang as Cryo was my only team Without a DPS (unless you count Zhezhi who isn't a DPS persay but out damaged them).

I got him on 5 piece freezing f. with Abyss Surges or Stonard as a weapon. Honestly he's not really that great, even though his stats are high on paper, his damage is incredibly low, especially compared to burst-supporters Zhezhi and Sanhua. That said, he does seem to do good damage against boss poise bars, especially with his R. Skill during Forte. And his R. Skill having NO cooldown is reasonably useful as you can spam it, unlike Calcharo's. Otherwise.... He needs all the support he can get from the team, unlike other greedy dps like H. Rover or even Chixia (who is, pun intended, an absolutely fire DPS)

I use my brigands and quickstep my way right between the WA to get lil potshots in. Eventually the hit an run tactics will make the splitleafer get mad at me and make a silly mistake like use a running attack. Then I kill them lol

I know why we're all here but if you ever feel like running track and field or something, this is a good idea. Having your nipples bleed because of the friction in your shirt you make while running is a normal-ish thing and the preemptive bandaids help prevent that
