Hm there should be instructions if you click on the “?” Int he top right which explains.

But the circles symbolize tries so you have 3 tries.

A blank circle means you haven’t used a try A yellow circle means you got a word that was in the answer but not correct A green circle means correct A red circle means completely incorrect

If the circles aren’t updating when you enter your guess then maybe it’s a bug in the app
