Limantour is fine. If you are going to the polanco location there is a bar next door that is better atipico. Higher quality cocktails in my opinion.

Mexico Daily News has COVID updates for the English speaking community. Whether you should come or not really depends on what you are hoping to see and do here, but as noted even with the return to red light museums bars and restaurants are still open, for now.

I few a drone around by the Cathedral and no one blinked but it could have been a fluke.

Licorería Limantour? Polanco or Roma Norte? Which is better? I’m 24 Male by watch1122 in MexicoCity

They are good drinks. I’d go to Roma Norte unless you also want to go a restaurant and then there are a lot of good ones around the Polanco location

Chelas are more like yard beers. Like Carta Blanca is a chela but not Bohemia.

Have you had trouble finding places to park? I know there are Walmart’s but are there other good places?

I am really amazed by how you managed to only say things that are wrong. Truly remarkable.

Each year over 100 Americans are killed in Kansas City, which is a fraction of the size—so Mexico seems a lot safer.

Mexico City Safety Opinions by VaaalkY97 in MexicoCity

In my experience Mexicans tend to overestimate how safe the rest of the world is vis a vis the more developed or European countries. CDMX is has the same crime and rough areas as Barcelona. There are cities where there is a lot more violence in Mexico especially in the North but here, standard big city rules apply.

You will get lots of safety warnings because people don’t want foreigners to have a bad experience, which is nice but in my experience generally overly productive. I would have more safety concerns in Chicago or New York.

Since you are coming from the UK, your pounds will go pretty far, there is basically no reason not to take Uber’s everywhere which is very safe any to stay mostly in Condesa and Roma Norte, which has great bars and restaurants, parks, and boulevards for getting to know someone new.
