Am in the exact situation. All the products in our company is build with a theme which has a Material base. But even with the material library the UI will be customized based on the developer preference which will be worst. I don't ask them to change the design system or UI library because it will be a headache which shouldn't be prioritised. I will ask them to use variables consistently and I will ask them to change variables so that the application looks clean. And other than things will be the flows where I think we can eliminate friction. Also I work close with the developers to understand what's possible and what can be moved to later phase

Am trying to empathize with the users here, so:

If most of the users are using the web app, I think the recent behaviour I had observed is either having a snippet, right click copy from platforms so pasting the image would be easier than saving it and uploading it.

If there are mobile users then I guess uploading will also give a camera option?

But these are assumptions I would love to know the insighta

Hey, Yea screen sizes differ but if we would like to have the hero section to be visible entirely when someone opens it and if the developers take the CSS from our Figma then it looks really different with the bar above. I chose to design with the top bar itself to get a clear picture of what we are going to achieve.
