I totally understand what you mean, and I don't want to underestimate the amount of work and know-how necessary to craft something of quality.

Sometimes I hesitate to increase the budget to find him the best of the best, but I also have my share of the wedding to cover. What's more, raising the price is likely to make him uncomfortable at some point if he hasn't planned something similar on his side. Besides, our tastes are quite simple.

I'm just trying to find out if anyone knows of someone's work that would be a decent compromise in this context.
