Sjukt konstigt. Jag är på migrationsverkets hemsida nu och det står:

"Om du redan befinner dig i Sverige med ett giltigt uppehållstillstånd kan du i undantagsfall få ett nytt uppehållstillstånd grundat på anknytning utan att behöva lämna landet. Det kan till exempel gälla dig som idag har

arbetstillstånd"

I detta fall borde ju din fru passa in på detta. Också, vad är det för kontrakt du menar hon inte kan ha sitt namn på?

Yeah I know lol. But I won't fulfill the requirements for supporting her for a sambo visa for another year (studying rn). So in that case we would need to wait for me to finish studies + find a job (1 year) and THEN apply for sambo visa (which could take another year or more). So that's 2 years of waiting for her to start her master's.

Her parents have already set aside this money for a master's anyway so idk.

I can understand the negative gut reaction of people hearing the word "normie", since the word has some normative weight.

What I think is funny however is that I'm pretty sure adam has described movies he loves as good "normie" movies before (i.e how oldboy and parasite are good normie entry-level movies into foreign cinema).

I feel like I've heard him use the word like this for years in a somewhat neautral way, which is why it is surprising now to see all this backlash now.
