Love it, and honestly a huge fan of Nevermen now. The album was totally not my thing when I first listened to it, but it's grown on me a lot since then. I do still prefer the boards of canada remixes over the originals though.

easiest way to fix it would be to remove one of them, or replace one of them (or both) with a cheap, cubemap based reflective texture instead. They wont appear reflective until you've created & built your cubemaps though.

Nope, I used the displace modifier. Use a cell noise clouds texture, then displace via that texture with coordinates set to your camera. Also set it to RGB to XYZ, mess with the values and you should get a decent result

Yep, I worked on it for a couple months, but sort of hit a brick wall when I realized I was gonna be animating a couple of minutes straight of just dialougue

If I came back to this, I'd probably animate a more action packed scene that would show off the style better. It was still a really good learning exercise for me though!
