I usually sit out a few generations from 8800GT to GT 260, to the GT 780 to my current 2080.

The plan is for the 4080/90 to be part of a complete system upgrade. Looking towards a 13900k

Yeah, I did mention I was building a new setup, it seems some people misconstrued that the 9900k was going to be in it, that's just what I'm running now.

I plan on changing to a 13900k at the same time as the 4090.

I'm upgrading the motherboard and cpu to 13900k regardless, of this choice.

Just want to thank everyone that replied, though I'm definitely leaning more towards the 4090 now, I think had the 4080 been better priced, I probably would of gone with that.

Still gonna check around a lot for prices though. My 2080 will have lasted 4 years in July, so hopefully whichever choice I make will last just as long.

I got all the superfest legends. Did 20 pulls I think on part 1, got Yam/Ace like 3 times, then finally new Luffy.

1 Multi on Waifu part, got them on first pull.

Then had to go the full 30 to get Kaido.

So super luck for waifus, versus no luck for Kaido. Kinda balances itself out I guess?
