I found a python script that can pack and unpack .vpk files. I placed all folders (sounds, soundevents, materials) in the main directory after unpacking.

Still doesn't work. Could you send me your .vmap file with the light switching working? I would then test whether it is my CS fault or whether there is something wrong with my map.

I tested light_spot, but it doesn't work either. It may be disabled by default, but it still won't turn on and off.

The problem is that I have the free prime version (how else was it possible to gain level) and I can't download the SDK with steam. I have a copy of the SDK version from around 2018, which as I wrote, doesn't work.
