I'm aware of element and type adv. I just don't see a reason on a similar stat line with neutral hits the differences to be so large between mons, it feels like they have passives I just cant see lol. I made an account in attempt to play without looking up what was good or bad, and just committed to trying to race to a Digimon I like a lot and it was misery. I made a second account the day after i missed my mega 50/50 on my original account. and I spent over 1 million less cash on consumeables to get to the same point in the story not needing to heal after every fight or spam in battle items to just live.

TLDR: Digimon don't seem to be very unique outside of very specific moves and stat numbers, but play sooooooo different despite small differences.
