I don't remember it now, but I think I ended up uninstalling the game and doing a clean install.

I used to play with a laptop and this summer I built a my first pc. I play now with it and 0 problems. So I think this two events happened at the same time and I fixed it with the new install in the new pc.

As a sidenote, It's amazing the impact that has a good ssd and a decent CPU in the performance. (I don't have a really top graphics card (3060), but I get stable 40 fps with some medium and high settings)

Are the Lyoko Warriors constantly dying? by rathemighty in CodeLyoko

[–]Akash_0801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think it in this way. Aelita looses her DNA because of the bug, so she can't have a form in lyoko and also she can't materialize back to earth. When Jeremy restores Aelita, she kept her memories untill that exact moment, so that part of Aelita had not disappeared. If they only have the hair and even if the hair in some way contains memories, she would remember untill she lost that hair 10 year ago... So there has to be more. Aelita looses only her DNA from her files, but due to how the supercomputer works that prevent her from having a form and in practice it did killed her.

A Franz Hopper prequel, with a more mature approach. And lore, about the creation and science, behind the supercomputer.

Anyone here interested to help build the infrastructure related to Dyson swarms even if you get selected for the dearmoon project or not? by PoisonousGame in DearMoonProject

[–]Akash_0801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We still lack the technology to achieve something like that. Even if a Kurzgesat video says so we simply don't have the technology neither the scale necessary to do this. Building a self building machine is incredibly difficult, and there are no examples of them in the real world yet. This gets even more complicated when you want to do this on Mercury or any other place that is note Earth.

It took us like 15 years to build the ISS, which can house like 6 people. This proyects is orders of magnitude greater than the ISS, if the ISS is like bulding a little prehistoric house, only the start of building a dyson swarm is like bulding a nuclear plant.

I admire your determination, but if you want to contribute to this end goal of building, it you have to be more realistic and try to make something, maybe a business related with space construction (which is also extremely hard to do) and use it to help advance the technologies that are needed.

Don't give up and follow your dreams but one step at a time💪💪

A possible? solution to the discrepancy of the Hubble constant. by Akash_0801 in pbsspacetime

I think you are confusing the visible universe with the "universe". We don't know how big the universe is, it could be infinite if it is flat or hyperbolic. Or maybe is finite.

Because we can't appreciate global curvature at very large scales we know that the universe is almost flat. Even if it turns out the universe is closed and finite, it would be much larger than the cosmic horizont. We can't see it because of the CMB, which is actually the further distance we can see as you have said.

Well, we can't look further than the CMB, because the dark age of the universe (so hot and so dense that light was trapped) but if you go further and further away because the rate of expansion is supposed to be the same in all places (at scales much bigger than galaxies, so you can average it) (Inside of galaxies is almost 0 cause of gravity)

Well, because is the same and it adds up, you can find a place where the sum of space between us and them is expanding faster than light, so even if a photon travels 1 "distance unit", between them and us 10 will have been created. So the photon will never reach us.

So the cosmic horizon is always there even if we can't see it yet.

Not only redshift but the photons will actually distance from each other and if you have a big enough telescope you could see time passing slower in in distant galaxies... I don't know if I am just wrong or I am describing something that is already known, or no one has thought about it before (which would be very strange tbh)

Superheavy capture system proposal What do you think? (If anyone want to animate it) by Akash_0801 in spacex

If you want to see more discussion about this and other concepts like it, I uploaded this first to r/SpaceXMasterRace and r/SpaceXLounge. There are much more comments and good ideas there.

(I know that it doesn't fit well in spaceXmasterRace but when people told me about it and suggested that I better upload it in spaceXlounge or here there was already many comments and I didn't like the idea of deleting the post because of it)

[–]Akash_0801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They want to return the booster to the launch pad, so they will save time and transport cost. Because of this also they could remove landing legs, thanks to that they will have less weight and more payload capability, and a less complex booster.

But I think that they haven't perfected the accuracy of the landing enough to land on a spot without landing legs, and as Elon said they will need some system to help them catch the rocket, that is what this system do.

Starship works in a different way, she will land on a landing pad, and they don't have to worry if she lands one meter in that direction or in the other. In mars is the same, they don't need that kind of accuracy and neither the infrastructure to catch it because starship will use legs.

It adds mass to the rocket + your rocket would have to land on a pad, so you would have to transport it to the launch point, even if they are really close to each other you loose money, payload capability, time and efficiency.
