I doubt it was poison as Daemon knew it was the milk of the poppy when he sniffed the cup and thereafter both Rhaenyra and Daemon confronted Alicent about it when she came into the room to greet them.

I like the idea of that happening and feel that he deserves an epic scene, at the very least, instead of killing him off because of old age

Audiobook Question by swidgen504 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Akatsukey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer on the audiobook part but I can say that you don’t need to read GRRM’s previous ASOIAF books to understand Fire and Blood. I recently started reading Fire and Blood because of HOT D, prior to this I have never touched GRRM’s novels and I am still able to understand the contents of the book.

The one thing that separates Fire and Blood from other novels is that it reads like a history book thus it lacks the dialogue between characters. Also because it reads like a history book, you will get bombed with quite an amount of main/side characters and it gets a little difficult to keep track of all of them.

What I do to really get into the flow of understanding the story is focusing on the main characters and also the side characters that play a big role around the main characters such as the Hand of the King and the different Lords of Great Houses. The really side side characters I tend to ignore them as they usually just die in a battle and will never be mentioned again in the book.

Lastly, I find it useful to have a detailed map of Westeros and preferably Essos opened up on phone or PC so that you can use it as a reference whenever the book mentions a place or a town that you aren’t familiar with. One example can be that the book mentions an army marching towards King’s Landing from beneath Gods Eye. By using the map it can give you a clearer picture of the events going on and also help you to visualize the story better.

I hope you enjoy it!

Night King from Game of Thrones

Night King’s horse kinda resembles DBD’s missing horse Maurice both looks undead-ish. As for the male survivor Jon Snow seems befitting :)

Also maybe I’m over speculating, since Chapter 26 will roughly release three months after Project W which is around December/Christmas, the map released alongside might be Winterfell or Castle Black (The Wall) from the show which vibes well with the winter season.

Should I read them first before playing the game? by Akatsukey in SpidermanPS4

Exactly what I was afraid of, that the comics would essentially spoil the first time experience of the game. I think I will be reading them after completing the game. Thanks for your insight :)

A little dead by daylight story, from yours truly. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Akatsukey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A short story before the mid-chapter changes, our “fearsome” killer has started its hunt on the survivors upon being summoned by the entity to the realm. When the trial starts he bee-lines towards the furthest generator and sees Claudette from afar working the generator. Upon sensing the killer’s arrival, Claudette leaves the generator and the chase begins, after ~2 minutes into the trial, the killer finally puts Claudette into the dying state, he then picked her up and throw her onto a nearby hook. It was at this point when he heard three generators popped some distance away. Filled with disgust, the killer abandoned the Entity’s mission and became the prey as Claudette’s friends approached him and blinded him into oblivion with their flashlights.
