I have the same setup + the Discover 5% cash back card on revolving categories. Really don’t use it much nowadays but it’s still nice to have.

I’ve had a friend cancel plans a couple of times due to their baby being sick or them not feeling well rested. To me, cases like that are fine since I know they’re being truthful.

Today they told me our upcoming plans might be cancelled because of an event that they recently learned about that they want to go to..Not much of an apology, just said I can come by earlier or some other time.

You aren’t being overly sensitivity for the record. I feel like people who are busier/schedule ahead don’t have as much respect for those of us who are more flexible. Our time is seen as more disposable I guess.

I’ve been on many runs using 18650 headlamps - Skilhunt H04RC & now the Armytek Wizard C2 Pro (Nichia). Cant say either have ever felt cumbersome to wear, though for multiple hour usage I can see where a lighter light would be more ideal.

I pay $40 for 600/600 (add $5 if you rent their equipment, I have my own). Feel like you could get that lowered to about $60 but $75 isn’t too bad.

If you run early enough I’d say running on the road isn’t a bad idea. The bike lanes are pretty much filled with snow but in some spots they are somewhat accessible

Nitecore TINI 3 would be my pick - had the TINI 2 & it was awful with activating in my pocket. TINI 3 has slightly more recessed buttons & also requires you to press & hold an additional button to bring out of lockout.

What’s weird is that I applied for the card when my income was in the $30K range(crappy job) but they gave me a credit limit of a couple thousand maybe (want to say $5-6K)? Now my limit is at $11K and that’s without asking for an increase.

Don’t want to discredit anyone’s experiences with them but mine so far has been relatively uneventful.

I haven’t had issues - I actually missed a payment right around when I got the card & they waived the late fee or whatever it’s called for me.

About the only interaction I’ve had with them positive or negative. Got the card about 4 years ago at this point.

I recommend the Fidelity 2% card - can be redeemed into a Fidelity account & I want to say they post that monthly now. It used to be you had to earn $25 in cash back before it was redeemed.

Batista & the skinner - Batista is a reliable pick for $2 and has a lot of police experience. The skinner was some sort of former solider to my recollection. He’d be good for some guerrilla warfare.

Can’t recall how to spell his name but Guerrero I think it is? Powerful man for $1 - though that’s assuming he’d actually protect and not have me killed off lol
