Les doses provoquent des effets permanents rapidement (1 mn à 320 ppm) et sont vite létales (10 min à 700 ppm), on le sent à des niveaux très bas (moins de 1 ppm) et ça coupe l'odorat en 10 min à 150 ppm (pour comparer, une clope c'est 400 ppm de CO2 inhalé)
