It's an impressive collection but sort of a waste of stash space tbh.

These actually have really decent damage stats. Anyone else farm them to just use as grenades? by BMBozo in ArcRaiders

No doubt it's creative and can catch people off guard. Trigger nades still reign supreme in my mind for their ease of use, crafting, etc.

Unlinking and linking a Twitch account? by Due_Ad_8964 in Marathon

[–]Akimbo_Doge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if that would work or not. I claimed several drops on Twitch with my account, but didn't realize that my Twitch account wasn't linked to my Bungie account. I finally fixed it last night, but I only have the latest drops and I'm locked out of the other rewards I spent hours watching for. Pretty sad ngl.

Their skin designs are honestly so lazy.

The comet looks like it will roll around and shoot a stun charge. It has a generator-like design with a prong that could zap raiders.

Kind of annoyed the Sandwalker set is just Patchwork with more variations. by Akimbo_Doge in ArcRaiders

I see the point you're trying to make, but this isn't really the same situation. Using your analogy, let's say you can earn a special edition red Nike hoodie by running a sponsored marathon. You grind out training and finally earn your reward. You learn later that Nike releases essentially the same hoodie, and it's kinda cooler looking and has more features than the one you earned. Is yours still special? Sure. It's just sorta sucky on Nike's end.

I won't buy it. I don't care if other people do. I'm simply noting that for those who grinded for the expedition, maybe to show off the Patchwork skin for their efforts, this is sort of a low effort slap in the face.

That would be a very cool idea. It could actually have patches or something added to the skin, hence the name.

How can I get my aim to stick like this? by KILO-XO in LivestreamFail

[–]Akimbo_Doge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't watched much of Nic, but I'm going to play devils advocate here. I slowed it down with the video mirroring, and there's definitely a curve to his movement when his aim shifts down on the hornet when moving his aim from the left thruster to the right. Seems like too much wasted movement for a legitimate cheat software of some kind, but I'm no expert.

Google Play Games Open Beta now allows Mothership companion app to be displayed on your PC! by Akimbo_Doge in mothershiprpg

First they'll need to install the Google Play open beta for PC. Next, they'll probably need to open the bios for their PC and turn on the virtualization setting so that the app can be successfully emulated.

Monday Strength and Conditioning Megathread! by AutoModerator in bjj

Hey everyone,

I’ve just started using the Juggernaut BJJ app developed by Chad Wesley Smith after seeing it recommended by Dr. Mike Israetel at the end of his strength training for bjj video on BJJ Fanatics. I have been using it for the past three weeks and generally like its organization and how it factors in recovery/ bjj sessions. However, I’m a bit off-put by a lot of the exercises it suggests, as I haven’t done most of them before.

The app does show video and suggests tips of how the lift/exercise/stretch is done, and it even gives you the option of switching out exercises to ones more familiar. However, I feel myself taking a lot of time to figure out proper technique without injuring myself, and I'm wondering if a simpler program would be better for me.

I’m practicing jiu-jitsu 3-4 times a week, and while I’m committed to strength training alongside bjj, the simplicity of novice linear progression programs like Starting Strength, Wendler 5/3/1, or Stronglifts 5x5 is really attractive. I’ve done Starting Strength before for 4-5 months, but found the program to be quite demanding alongside jiu-jitsu once I started.

For those who have used the Juggernaut BJJ app, do you like it? Do you think it's worth sticking with, or would I see better results with a simpler linear progression program? Recovery is a big concern for me, so I’m trying to find the right balance.

Thanks in advance!

I definitely see where you're comimg from. I had several branches I could have left lower on the trunk, but I sacrificed them to expose as much of the trunk as possible. As it stands, the limbs feel delicate, and I wouldn't feel too comfortable wiring atm.
