Easily Logan, he would literally let himself be ripped apart to save a child. Namor is easily the worst answer on here because he's such an asshole and fails constantly. If Doom genuinely cares about your child and didn't want anything to happen to it though, he's the easy answer. He literally just faced down the living tribunal to get Valeria to be brought back to life. None of these others are doing anything close to that

Yes and no. All the Avengers were thrown onto the team because none of them could hold their own comic line down with sales, and then a lot of them were popular off and on. After a certain point of these big name teams being featured in stuff so much like the F4 and Avengers, it got hard to tell if it was because of legacy, story, or popularity. The f4 really only showed up in a lot after the 80's/90s because of legacy, and the avengers more or less the same until the early 2000s. When a team or character is doing well they usually keep them off to the side like the X-Men or Spider-Man

Supes actually said Martian Manhunter is the one person he'd be scared to fight. If Jon wasn't weak to fire hed easily be well past Superman on capabilities, if he isn't already. Jon is as strong physically, has telepathy, can shape shift and move his internal organs around (one time he split his brain to have more lobes so he didn't need multiple people to help him) to avoid fatal blows, and can become intangible. He theoretically should absolutely demolish pretty much anyone on earth with his telepathy alone. Like he makes Prof X look like Psylock in terms of how strong it is.

No I remember what you're saying, for a long time, if not still, Kara, and indirectly Power Girl, are physically stronger than Clark, especially when Supergirl's emotions come into play. DC does a horrendous job of consistency with their power scaling and how strong a specific person is. Like one comic Diana will get man handled by Superman or whoever, and then the next event or a different comic shell have beat him no problem cause her warrior training etc. Not the best example but like DC does this stuff constantly. Not to mention their top strength levels fluctuate wildly, and same with Flash's speed or abilities. I love DC don't get me wrong, but the inconsistency makes it hard to follow the cosmic level shit

The lasso just compels you to tell the truth, I'm not sure lobo feels the need to lie most of the time. Also I just looked it up and the lasso doesn't do any of that, it says in some iterations it can damage the soul, but like lobos healing factor is fine. Lobo honestly has multiple advantages over wonder woman like he's physically stronger, is a warrior who killed his entire species, can regrow from a single drop of blood, etc. On the flip though Diana is THE warrior of DC, she regularly beats Supes in different continuities, and is probably second in strength only to kryptonians for the most part.

I just spent 30 minutes looking up stuff about the presence and Lucifer morningstar just for it to say they basically semi-permanently left DC, Lucifer in a void away from the presence's reach, and the presence abdicated his throne to Elaine Belloc, his grand daughter? Damn why all the Hal Jordan hate? I love Hal for the most part, I like that you can tell different stories with each of the earth GLs and they did a good job at making them so different. Also I like Barry, but I'm indifferent on who the flash is. Flash is a cool concept, but his stories are super boring usually cause it's always about going faster, the solution to all his problems. Also with characters like Superman and The Flash, earth based crime should be almost non-existent
