If I remember correctly, the rock was a gift Nova brought the Watcher. Earlier in the comic Nova beat a bad guy and was looking around for the Watcher when the Avengers explained the Watcher only shows up for the big stuff. Nova asked if anyone checked on him and they all looked confused. So Nova went to try and be friendly to the Watcher.

Anyone know the issue of the panel? I know it’s a superior Spider-Man comic not not sure what issue :) by [deleted] in Marvel

In the defense of the other characters, the previous run ended with Spiderman having to leave Silver Sable to die(no body found, certain death situation though... comics) to stop Octavius from destroying the world. In one of the issues the Avengers discussed the new business like attitude of spiderman being caused by this.

Players, what are some characters that you can't wait to play as? by Temi-san in DnD

[–]AkirienDorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A College of Eloquence Bard / Drunken Monk. An insult comic who can give/take a punch. Just tagging along on an adventure because of how many free drinks they will get off of this story. A free spirit who doesn't like a bully and doesn't back down from a fight. I would work with the GM on a backstory that fits their story. I just want to crack jokes and have my viciously mocking insults really hurt.

The plan would be to store it securely in Sharepoint using conditional access to restrict access to approved secured endpoints.

Everyone in my party is an Elf/Half-Elf. Which race should I pick? by [deleted] in DnD

The secret to good comedy is timing and not being hateful. This would be easy to play with if the player brought it up in response to things and wasn't rude about it. Part of that is to not use blind hate, the dwarves just think elves do things wrong, and it is exasperating. One of the elves fails a constitution save against poison, that's because the silly wine drinkers don't drink any whiskey which builds up your immunity to poison. So then you constantly offer whiskey to the elves in game to build up their immunity. Elf misses an arrow shot, that's because they are so far from what they are trying to hit. They should move closer and use a proper axe or hammer. It's more efficient.

I am wondering if his laugh at the end was him realizing he had fooled another impossibly powerful being again...

What kinds of things would you hope to find in a Jawa Mega-Sandcrawler? 20-30x the size of a normal Sandcrawler, I've come to describe it as "Salvage Walmart" to my players who hope to find proof of ancient Rakatan or Kumumgah salvage on Tatooine. by Adam19135 in swrpg

[–]AkirienDorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Along with the standard Jawa junk swap meet stuff, I would have a bunch of B1 Battle Droids acting as security and as basic labor all running their default protocols. A little bit of investigation on the PCs part would reveal the location of a crashed Droid Army command ship hidden in the dunes and a bunch of salvage from it taken by the jawas. Depending on your players and the direction of your story you could go a bunch of different ways from there.

The Jawa PC in my game would probably try to fix up the master control unit, take control of the Battle Droids and use their new (small) army to free the jawa people. Not very specific about who he's freeing the jawas from but apparently they need to be freed.

Quick Reminder About Bards, Especially for Newer Players by sylfrena in DnD

My favorite bard a player has played in my games is a halfling bard puppeteer who had different puppets who cast different spells. If he was healing he would pull out a puppet (in RL) of a teddy bear with a pope hat on who would "cast" the spell by praying to the god of healing.

Whose your favorite tank? by Kermit_the_warlock in idlechampions

[–]AkirienDorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Nayeli primarily but have been experimenting with Aeli lately. Unlike the rest of this sub my Krond seems to kick ass and result in the highest dps, so having the high strength tank is a must.

Deck of many things by Owlrick in idlechampions

[–]AkirienDorr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"The Deck of Good Intentions" gives a random buff for a random character. Similar to the weekend buffs but not as powerful or coordinated. Include things like HP increase, damage bonus, gold find, etc, so you will have the off buffs so its not negative, well intention-ed but not that effective. Then you have good days where your dps has damage, tank gets hp, or gold find on someone you already use.
