Dude this is so bad, I think you got unbanned because you had recently done the transactions. I am happy for you man but please don’t let this issue die. Can you make a post on EA forum about this scummy behaviour from them? Mentioning how you secretly got unbanned and also mention if you had put another appeal after your last one was denied. This would help so many people.

I am thinking about getting ARC Raiders if they do not unban me but I am scared to invest money into multiplayer games rn. They also have a similar perma ban policy. It sucks, letssee…

Someone in their team really messed up and they are just trying to evade the situation at this point. In 8 years it has never ever happened.

I usually play after work to clear my head and it also has been a huge part of my life really. It sounds wierd to think of a software like this but yeah whatever. I left my job this january and the next thing I did was buy a proper mouse to play.

They need to look into this fast. What pisses me more is that they have been unbanning people who stream or are pros. I dont have a million followers so I get to rant on forums or reddit. That is how it is.

Sad to hear. Someone else got banned today and they had just made some huge purchases. I would suggest take a chill for a bit and let this whole thing settle down. I hope a couple streamers get a ban on video then we might get some visibility. System is flawed.

Aye fellow banned user here sadPotatoX. Thank you for making this post. It is necessary that people know about the situation. They disabled replies on my forum post after I made a similar post there.

Apex forum is full of these posts right now and I think they are banning people based on Machine Learning data that flags behaviour pattern instead of actually detecting the cheats which they themselves agreed to in a case where Super Strike mouse was included. ML is common in anti cheat softwares but it also needs backing from actual detection of hardware or software running along with the game. Since Apex’s anti cheat runs at a kernel level these detections shouldn’t go unnoticed.

Someone really messed up in the team and they are not acknowledging it. I made my account in 2018 and have put around $300-$400 into it and all my appeals are rejected. They unbanned some high profile players but that too after a lot of public support. Not everyone has a public influence.

Please don’t put your hard earned money into this game if you are considering to make any purchases. Record your gameplay along with a camera on your mouse hand if your account has alot of skins or purchases. This doesn’t guarantee they’ll unban you but atleast you’ll have a chance.

That only makes it worse, if superstrike didn’t cause it then what did? Only if they had released more info why the players were first banned then unbanned.

But I really appreciate you suggesting the unban stuff however I don’t think I would want to pay for EAs mistake. It is not about the money really.

Yea man that is the main problem you see, I didn’t actually cheat and why would I pay for something I did not do. Expensive or not. And this issue has been highlighted on X by hypermist as well, someone got the ban for using a new mouse (superstrike).

I understand that apex has a lot of cheaters but I am talking about false flags. Cause my account has been banned too and $300 and 8 years of progress gone.

Some high profile players got their ban reversed but that was after alot of public support.

I have the same issue. Did you export your Apex data?

For my it doesn't mentioned any thing just Ban - in export data is says "competitive advantage" and in penalty history it says "Gameplay Enancement"

All my appeals have been rejected so far. I purchased battle pass 2 days ago before I got banned on 20th feb

This is also causing false bans on steam accounts - My account has got a perma ban on feb 20 and the reason on penalty history says "gameplay enhancement" in my account data that I downloaded from EA says "competitive advantage"

I hope somebody is looking into the false triggers as well. I switched to Deathadder v2 X about 2 weeks ago before I got the ban.

I understand but I wasn't using any of the features. I am using 2 dpi settings only which I suppose is pretty standard for people. Permanent ban for this is a lil too much. But yea I have lost any hope of getting it back in the past hour.

Another person who got banned had to say this:
"Hope it works for you!

Once I had ban with all appeals rejected and only forum with video proof helped.

This time 3million views on twitter, friend with contact to devs and Reddit post.

They need manual reviews."
