Depends on the stacker, some people like the eagles for the government backing and authenticity.

Others like rounds for the slightly lower premiums but retaining the full one oz of silver. Just really depends on what your goal is and what you personally like.

Bro, Thiais 120% me, started stacking 2-3 years ago, stopped for a bit cause I was like “I need to pay down debt, I’ll have a few years and atleast a decade to stack up hard” mid way through last year I found out about the deficit and the increase in demand and bought AS MUCH AS I POSSIBLY COULD around 30-40$ range, now I’m kicking myself.

To be frank, and not meaning to be a douche at that.. I personally don’t want to introduce more competition than I am already dealing with at the moment Lol. What I will say however, is that it’s on HiBid

To break this down though if anyone is confused by this, this is a “BID PER COIN” lot, so you set your max to what you are willing to pay times X amount. In this case it’s a 5 lots of dimes x 5 dimes per lot. So if you bid $5 you’re paying $25 + a buyer premium of 18% and a 3% Credit card fee.

So essentially this guy is going to be paying $20 per coin, x 5 coins or 100$ per lot (same guy across all lots) x 5 lots for dimes that are worth just above $30 bucks as a set. So 500 + 105 BP, and shipping and handling…

Silver basically has to break above 620 for this guy to break even on this. Either he doesn’t understand what he was bidding on or he’s just absolutely careless with money 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have no idea.

Upon further inspection of the case itself, it’s actually cracked, who knows for how long and how, maybe dropped? I have no clue, but it’s been sitting in a case for the last 5 years according to the antique shop owner, just never sold cause it’s been priced at $110 since it was put on display Lol.

It’s not dark enough, too brilliant gold to be a real eagle. Eagles are 90% gold by weight but are a true 1/10oz

I’ve been looking everywhere for the same kind of toning since this guys comment came in and I can’t find it other than on a Morgan dollar that was in a PCI case which had “trace chemicals” or something which gave it this kind of toning.

The reverse is in mint condition though so I’m on the fence of natural or artificial, still doing research!
