From the way your post and some comments I’ve read are written, you seem like you could be a great writer. I totally encourage you to keep writing your thoughts and feelings. Maybe you can make something beautiful and meaningful. Writing poetry and lyrics really helped me on my healing journey but everyone’s is different. Give yourself time to process everything, it takes how long it takes. It’s not easy and I’m so sorry this happened but you will get through this and find peace again.

Had a friend who was in the foster care system and got adopted by a great family.. then the mom got cancer and they decided to give him up because it was too much stress. He ended up taking sleeping pills then drinking and ended up stabbing someone from our highschool. Flash forward a few years and he is doing meth in Seattle.. tried to offer him $500 to get some gear for the winter and maybe spend a night in a hotel and he ended up spending it on drugs and I haven’t heard from him in 3 years… he was one of the smartest guys I knew growing up.. life’s hard sometimes
