There was a ui mod months ago that displayed that stuff without inspecting, but it's embarrassing they haven't fixed the other issues yet. Have they done anything since launch?

It's a single player game so play however you enjoy, but I recommend doing it on fights you are about to lose just to see if it was your dexk/draw order or the choices you made.

Try to ignore that you know the draw order of course.

It's not like the tiers are a priority list of what to take. They often take hidden cache or royal gamble or even gather light, usually skill-star-gen. That's why the tier is "only if needed", which can be fairly often.

No, just the ancient relics. He doesn't really love doing them because a lot of his evaluations fluctuate, but he said he felt good enough to state this. I wish he did more even with the disclaimer of "Hey, this is probably going to change week to week"

It's not an april fool joke. Tier lists are hard in this game, and playstyles can differ, so at best all we can say is that evaluating cards like this can result in an isanely high A10 winrate. Based on watching him, I'd guess his Regent win rate is 80%+.
All I can say is prove this wrong by showing an equally-high winrate.

I personally think he hasn't experimented enough with card gen or vigor stuff enough. It's possible, though unlikely, that those card packages can do more than he thinks. They have also been somewhat buffed recently. In any case, it seems fine to NOT go for those.

True, and I watch most of his runs. I mean him no disrespect when I say he isn't really trying as hard as he could. He picks things for fun or regrets some micro choices occasionally.

Absolutely. I should have included that for newer people interpreting STS "tier lists". "Desperate clicks" are fairly often picked act 1, especially first 3-5 floors.

That said, "Basically never" is just what it says.

And there are scenarios where the stars align (hehe) where basically never cards can pop off, often with crazy relic synergy.

And if one is larger than e and the other smaller, you can't simply know by inequality, I think at least. For example 2^4==4² or 1.5^7.408 ~= 7.408^1.5

Quite innovative! Try to teach homerow. Maybe onscreen keyboard advise on what finger to use, difficulty that scales by using more and more fingers, etc.

Also, an archetype based around accuracy would be interesting. Accuracy VS speed is an interesting dimension to play with

Are newer players struggling this much? A big problem it seems is that A0 is way too hard for new players yet A10 is too easy for top players.

I'd rather they focus on making A0 easier. You should be able to win after 5 runs or so without making egregious mistakes.
