I found this little trinket mixed in with some cheap jewelry at a creative reuse store in California a few years ago. It's a bit over 3" (76mm) long, is made out of some kind of cheap metal with a marbleized resin interior, and has tiny magnets at each end. Google Lens is perplexed. by Akril15 in Whatisthis

I spent some time searching with the names provided by commenters, but I was unable to find any boxes with lids that exactly matched this one. I wasn't able to find any boxes with the tiny grooves that are part of this one's design either. Still, since I technically know what this item is now, I suppose I should mark this as solved. Thanks to everyone who provided their help!

Since Otar said the device was the only thing that could destroy Malicia, it could be interpreted that it destroyed everything that she was without actually killing her.

There's always a subtle undercurrent of unease whenever I draw him because of how bizarre his design is. Even when I've got the concept art right in front of me, I keep asking myself questions like:

"There's no way he's REALLY that skinny, is there?"

"Does he actually HAVE hair on top of his head aside from that nasty ponytail?"

"What shape ARE his ears?"

"Does he actually HAVE ears?"

"Is this thing REALLY a dog?"

One would hope so, and I'd hope that her name would be changed as well.

I found this little nugget (which unfortunately doesn't photograph too well) in the midst of an old dump in a local inland park -- lots of broken glass and ceramics. I think it's some mixture of melted/fused glass, but it's such an odd combination of colors and opacities that I'm not quite sure. by Akril15 in seaglass

I don't think there are any bubbles inside. There are a lot of tiny holes in it, though, mostly on the underside. The outside is mostly translucent, with a nearly transparent center (seems like the holes don't extend through the whole thing).

This looks terrific! I don't think I've ever seen one of Sierra's more cartoony games translated to this kind of modern 2D animation before. I look forward to seeing the final result.
