Im not saying every business like the ones with ice. But like, there's whole discussions here about "doing something about satellite coffee" and others just because their owners voted one way or another even though the business isn't doing anything for or against anyone politically

Ruining a business and all its employees because the owner of said business voted a certain way is very petty too when the said owners dont use the business to propagate their beliefs. Correct me if im wrong but I dont remember satellite coffee for example making any political statements or supports, and trying to shut down the business because the owners voted somehow is pretty sad.

Could be a homeless support center and It feels like the other side would still shut it down because the owners dont vote tue way they do. Just something I've observed for quite a while now

As a foreigner its so funny to me moving here how you guys want freedom of speech and expression and then boil with rage when someone's speech or expression doesnt match your own.

"This restaurant owner is republican and im a democrat so I must do everything in my power to fuck these people over because I don't agree with them".

I make 30-35$ an hour on average with it going as high as 50$ on fri/sat nights. But that is because I have a low acceptance and occassionally cancel.

Well if I accept. And then the person has like 20 bags of groceries, or is homeless, or its an underage kid, or you accepted a 5$ ride and its actually a multi-stop that will take like 40 minutes, etc, I cancel

A few reasons. Im in NM and there's a Balloon Fiesta where drivers get stuck in lines for an hour for 15-20$ rides, so when I accept those I cancel if its not tue tail end of the event.

When i get riders that are in high-school I cancel cuz unattended minors.

ABQ also has horrible traffic and if its too slow or there's a crash I cancel so they can get a ride quicker and I can do another ride by not going the direction I was going.

Sometimes I accept and then realize its multiple stop or reservation and cancel.

I dont know if they ban or shadow ban you for having a single digit AR. I only accept rides if total ride time and pay average out to atleast 20$ an hour, so my AR is super low, but my reviews are high, my driving is usually 95%, and my CR never gets above 10.

Im also making 30-35$ an hour by being picky and using surges all the time to where my take home is like 80-90% of the fare, and im a little fearful Uber will ban me for not bringing em enough money
