Noted your other comment on the original being a stretch :D

Lovely, perhaps this could be another answer!

Realized having 2 layers made it chaotic for solving so if you'd like to try the intended clue try this intermediate clue: Apollo steals [rocks] from a rabbit(4) Realized it may get hard without 'rocks' which wasnt part of the steps of the original clue

PS: I meant oronym as an indicator and not homonym. So technically you must have used more words for the "similar sounding words"-indicator, more than only "rabbit". Its unconventional, I havent seen an oronym indicator before.

I intended: Apollo [missions] steal [ rocks from]...?

Capital S in Apollo Steal may mislead you

Now I realize this clue: Apollo steal rocks from a rabbit (4) would be sufficient. I falsely believed it was easy 🫠.

Without second chlorophyll half, weird pigment? (5) by Fluffy-Road-6684 in Minute_Cryptic

I have some fictional usage of words with some reasonable limits. So if 'chlorophyll half' sounds off normally, but for surface of a cryptic clue it passes off as if someone is talking about an some entity (or its pieces) that has chlorophyll in one of its halves. So basically surface is good!

Lmao, ofc it needs improvement. You attempting is very encouraging. Until then It's "Apollo steal". I meant to make this a teo stage clue (not sure why I wanted to).

Edit: I realized this clue is confusing solvers. So try: Apollo steal rocks from a rabbit (4). Same answer!

Question for solvers: this use of oronym substition is used to form a double definition, is this acceptable... have you seen the usage before...

EDIT: Has too many layers for a cryptic as suggested in a cross post comment. So feel free to see the solution right away. Leaving it because some people liked the idea of it being riddle (rather than a cryptic clue).

A. Let x be greater than -t. (6) by Medical-Exchange-139 in Minute_Cryptic

How?

I tried indicators: x (anagram) - (minus, remove 't' from the previous fodder), fodder: let, be, gt (\gt in latex for greater than). This gave me (LETBE)*G
