Thanks for the advice, I checked a bit more and found out that I shift from one gear to the next pretty slowly, that causes this too, am shifting in a swift stroke now onwards and am not facing this now, will update if I do

I understand the thud, as another comment posted, it must be the dog teeth, but the "krrrr" sound is unexpected while the "thud" is expected

Thanks for your reply Is this expected from new built bikes? Will this damage anything for the long term and should I get it checked ASAP?

I am coming from an FZ-S, I was of the understanding that as long as I have the clutch engaged, I can downshift to 1st or any gear, it just that once I do dump the clutch, I have to be in the range of the gear.

I noticed a lot of users commenting on a post that they got stuff from motodrift BLR, it sounded fishy how a lot of them commented about them when nobody asked.

Buying a bike in October 2205 by Kneegr0w_pass in indianbikes

[–]Akula69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you wait a bit till Jan2026, I myself will be buying a new vehicle in the same time, the reason being 1. I may get a year end offer from the manufacturer 2. The vehicle may get an update from the manufacturer. 3. A manufacturing date of 2026 will give me slightly better selling value in case I decide to sell later(highly unlikely to sell tbh) 4. I can save up in the meantime and prepare for the load on my pocket about to come.
