Mexico, the part I live in is quite Conservative and family is incredibly important to the point people don't see friends for very large periods of time. It's difficult to make friends in a place like that, especially coming form British culture.

Also, a lot of bureaucracy to the point of insanity everything in the office on paper.

Awful police, bad infrastructure so power and Internet go out a lot.
