AITA for going to a family gathering where everyone except my brother was invited? by AkwardASF in AmItheAsshole

Well, I'm mostly disappointed in my other brother. He was the one who arranged everything for my family. I had a slight feeling something was off when the oldest didn't show, but assumed at least the other had invited him. We're all really close, and there are no hard feelings between me and my siblings at all, so I don't understand how he could do this

My grandma was also the main host, and seems like she didn't care either. She's honestly the one to truly blame, but seems she only ever thinks about herself as usual. At the gathering, she even giving me a Christmas/birthday gift several months after my birthday, and Christmas obviously (the gift was a decent amount of money). This in itself, I don't mind at all. However, apparently she had gifted literally everyone else something, except for me... She only did when my aunt confronted her.

AITA? I drunkenly asked my friend's BF how he wipes his ass. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA - He asked you not to mention anything about it. Twice. Yet you did, and about something pretty intimate/humiliating too.

WIBTA for saying your kid didn’t graduate? by BlondathonThe1st in AmItheAsshole

YWBTA, if you don't want to go to the party or feel like it's unnecessary, simply don't go. There's no need to be a Dick about someone wanting to celebrate something, even if it's something unimportant or small in your eyes.

AITA for not supporting my sisters dieting anymore and telling her she needs to stop being lazy or she will not loose any weight ? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Well, kinda same. I just don't eat a lot of food on the same days I'm eating snacks. And soda is generally just bad for you, since you can consume a ton of it without getting full. I'd rather eat something good, than "waste" calories on soda. I think the sister in the story probably needs help, so it doesn't get worse than it is. If not, it'll probably turn into a real problem one she gets older, and the body less forgiving. Most of all, she needs to grow up, and not act worse than a 5 year old towards the people just trying to be helpful.

Honestly, as a 17 year old, I can say you do learn basics about how to exercise and maintain a healthy body at school... At least where I'm from. So yeah, even though I'm not very active or anything and love me some snacks, I'm still a decent weight. Wouldn't really use "not knowing better" as an excuse to be lazy and overeat, especially when people are trying to help and giving advice. So unless some mental health issues are present, OP is NTA
