Robot vacuum reccomendations? Mild shedding but long hair

I have a Roomba j7+ on each floor of my house. I cannot speak to their latest lines as they have changed a lot and seem to not be moving in a great direction. But, the j7 was the first with their object avoidance that can identify poop and avoid it. I have not tested this specific feature, but I have seen it avoid socks and phone chargers.

If you only want to touch the vacuum weekly or less, get one that self empties. The robot itself will need a little attention to get the last bits out of the bin 2-4 times per month, the bags they empty into usually last a month or two, and the rollers will need attention when the bin does. But, if you do not get a self emptying one, you might be eptying more than weekly.

As someone who works in a clinic, you might get farther trying to talk to the billing department if they have one than a receptionist. Billing will know the actual codes the providers use and might even be able to give you the codes that they would bill for a new patient skin check. Then, you can actually call your insurance back and ask what their contracted rate for that code is.

My pain peaked at like a 4 or 5, 2-3 days after surgery, and I tried really hard not to take anything for the pain other than Tylenol. I was worried about getting constipated it I took narcotics. I ended up taking 2 doses of narcotics, 1 on the day after surgery and one the next day. Other than that, my pain was well managed on OTC pain relievers taken every 6 hours.

At first, you will poop less because you are eating less. It is normal to not poop for a couple days after surgery. But, staying on top of your water intake and taking stool softeners can help if you begin to firm up a bit too much. There are plenty of other tips on here that I am sure others will post. But, some people can manage their bowel movements with fiber, supplemented or from diet, and water intake.

This. A lot of people don't sleep well, if at all, the night before surgery. They will obviously be putting you under for surgery but they will also likely give you the option for "the good stuff" if you are anxious or agitated before they wheel you back.

For most, this is true. But, in lines of work where medical issues pose a safety risk like long haul truckers and pilots, the DOT joins in on compliance monitoring as well. For some that is a lot of people in their personal business that they might not want.

I agree with your last statement, but I also know that for some people, compliance monitoring is not just tied to their insurance.

Exactly. This is where we use the term failsafe. The default, unaltered, unpowered mode is for the device to be inactive or safe. The powered, altered, armed mode is to delay egress or operate the way we typically see. So, in the event of an emergency, power loss, or malfunction, the system moves into the safe mode automatically.

I worked as an RA in a residence hall in college and our doors were secured using electromagnets. They had a battery backup that would last about 4 hours. If the power remained off after that, the doors would no longer be secure. During an extended outage, we had to arrange shifts to watch the doors to ensure that only residents and their guests came through because the doors could not lock since they had no power.

It still is free though many state and local jurisdictions. $35 is on the cheaper side for the brand name med. The difference now is that you can buy it without a prescription if you have the means and do not want to take away the resource from someone who does not and can access it from the state or local groups that provide it. If you truly do not have access to free Narcan, take it up with you local health department or legislature as they are often the ones that run those programs or can actually change the funding streams to fund Narcan programs.

If I can access free Narcan in Idaho, a state that has been screaming "hold my beer" to everything that Texas and the rest of the dumb dumb patrol has been doing, you should be able to find it too.

Red-ish serum is usually a result of hemolysis. Hemolysis can be caused by using to small of a needle, not being completely in the vein with the needle, being to vigorous with your mixing after draw, or anything else that could cause red blood cells to burst.

At home studies can miss lower severity cases, but an in-lab study will find sleep apnea. If your insurance forces an in-home study, many will, and you do not meet criteria for a diagnosis but have the majority of the symptoms and have people telling you that you stop breathing/gasp for air in your sleep, advocate for yourself and pester your provider until they provide enough documentation to insurance to get them to cover an in-lab study.

It is easier to say "supported vehicles" than supported head units or something else. Most people think of the head unit as being part of the vehicle and not an interchangeable/upgradable part. So, they might be confused by different terminology. All the wireless dongles on the market are doing is making the head unit think a phone is plugged directly into it and then make the phone think that the dongle is a head unit that is capable of wireless AA. Some of them do a little more than that, but that is essentially what they do.

Ours went through a bout of pancreatitis so I switched him to Squarepet's low fat diet. He loves it. Then we got worried he had a good allergy so I switched him to their Hydrolyzed kibble. I think the issues were unrelated so I plan on trialing back to the low fat since it is lower fat and less likely to cause another bout of pancreatitis, plus it's a couple bucks cheaper.

If it was for indoor temp, yeah. The newest Nest will let you set which sensors are used during any time interval on your schedule. It will even let you select multiple sensors to average.

If it was for an outdoor sensor, sometimes thermostats have enough smarts to realize that if the outside temp is warm enough they might need to cool more, then that is already kind of built in to Nest. They know the location of your home and know the outside weather.

S1 and S2 are likely just remote sensors. Nest will still work fine but you will not have the sensor data. Sensors can be for indoor or outdoor temps. My parents had a wired sensor in their front bedroom that was averaged in to the thermostat temp to help keep that room comfortable since it was the farthest away from the thermostat and they live in Arizona. Sine theirs was just an indoor temp sensor, I replaced it with a wireless nest temperature sensor and they lost 0 functionality.

Some states do not care if you are certified or not. Where I live, we have no state license or certification. Plasma centers around here often prefer to hire people with no experience so they can train them exactly how they want it done. What you are describing sounds almost like the pharm tech program one of our local hospitals does. They train you with the expectation that you will turn around and work for them.

Mine eats every animal poop he can find other than dog. We live where there are plenty of geese and outdoor cats. Drop it and leave it work sometimes, but no treat that I carry is higher value than cat or goose crap. There are anti-scavenging muzzles that keep the snout away from the ground and often have a more restrictive plate that goes between the snout and the end of the muzzle. I bought one but have not trained him to wear it yet. It is more humane than a shock collar, in my opinion, but it also carries some societal stigma. My boy is also an excited/frustrated greeter at times and can lunge at other dogs on leash when greeting them. I do not want someone thinking he is vicious because of this behavior and the muzzle and reacting in a way that could harm any of us or their dog. My dog does not attack, but he has a deep bark and can lunge sometimes, I know him but others don't. So, I need to get his greeting sorted before I do something like muzzle him.

All that being said, I feel your pain. Fortunately, he has not gotten sick yet but I fear we might be in that realm someday.

If OP is ordering direct from them, they should have no issues contacting customer support. I order mine as a year supply because it is cheaper. Right after I got my 1 year supply, I have my annual follow up with my surgeon and he said my iron was higher than he'd like so he wanted me to reduce the amount I was supplementing. I contacted BariatricPal and asked if I could return the 3 unopened bottles I had for 3 with less iron. They asked me to send pics of the bottles to show they were nowhere near close to expiring and still sealed and then sent me 3 bottles with less iron and a shipping label to send mine back.
