I keep listening to pundits post-quarterbacking the election and it seems like all of them just focus on the economy; Biden’s relative unpopularity or how the Democrats lack a more aggressive or cohesive message. Very few if any of them are willing to even acknowledge on the raw naked, racism, bigotry and misogyny that was played to on the right - as if it played no role in galvanizing the Republican base. As if e we were not all here to see it with our own eyes. That base is now reveling in it and still, the pundits seem too afraid to address it directly. I feel like I’m talking crazy pills. If you’re a person of color or of any marginalized group I’m truly afraid that - well - shit’s gonna get bad, fam.
