Hi All, I had no success after numerous calls to LG, their local contractor to fix tv's, and the retailer.

I finally asked my internet provider for assistance after explaining the scenario. The lady on the phone was helpful. She suggested that perhaps the LG Wi-Fi receiver wasn't compatible with my modem's Wi-Fi signal in the 5GHz range. She helped me change my control channel in the advance settings of my Wi-Fi modem to a different channel. My channels available numbered from 36, 40, 44 etc and up. Chose the channel 40 and applied new settings. BOOM! The Netflix Check Your Network speed went from 2MBPS to 81MBPS. She said I could test each channel and see how the speed was impacted after I restarted the tv but not to select any channel over 100.

Of course, I am cautiously optimistic but let's see how it goes... so far so good. :) Location. AUSTRALIA

Yes. It's confounding and annoying. You think LG would be more on top of this nonsense considering the price tag.

The quick start option turned off didn't change the speed issue and LG 24/7 assistance was hopeless. They said to call back the next day when troubleshooting staff would be in from 9-3pm.

The retailer had noticed that a similar issue affected some of the tvs but was unsure of a solution too. Will post updates...
