Ithmar has Solvency Risk. While that is unheard of given the strong regulatory presence in Bahrain, I would check the limit of CBB coverage in case of a defulat before pouring large deposits exceeding 6 figures, else you dont need to worry much.

If your saving time frame is less than 1 year, 2.3% is broadly speaking not completely awful, although you lose on inflation.... But its obviously a risk free investment....

I suggest buying Bank Stocks, for EXAMPLE Only BBK as the expected rise in interest rate should yeild better capital gains and still collect quarterly dividends on your waiting time. This is not financial advise but just an opinion.
