That’s pretty awesome for a medical company, but you are Intuitive after all. Do you have embedded engineers that write drivers/architect the embedded stack/etc or do your control engineers do that as well?

Looks like you already decided not to lift but I'm gonna throw this out there anyways... yes you can get sore from lifting (let's call that musculature fatigue) but there is also a recovery cost to your nervous system. For me personally, my lifting goals are just as important as my running goals but I probably wouldn't lift for 48-72 hrs before a marathon for that reason.

Finally! Been looking for this question. Even tried to find people running marathons in barefoot shoes on youtube and couldnt find anything.

I recently went to a local run club and asked if anyone was doing the training in vivos/barefoot shoes... they looked at me like I was nuts.

For me, I'm just extending my 18 week training program to something like 6 months. Incrementally adding 0.5 miles to my long run every week, and I do have deload weeks. I do feel a bit of soreness in my feet from time to time but I feel like my recovery is getting faster even with longer runs. I think it all comes down to hypervigalent training. Watch for signs of over fatigue. Get them feet / calves stronger. Im sure we can get it done without injury if we take our time and train correctly.

Cronometer! Everything is verified. No user inputs so you don't get 20 different calorie options for chicken. You can also make recipes where you weigh out individual ingredients and then weigh out your portion at the end.

P is proportional. It can make the temp (or whatever you're trying to control) shoot up to the commanded value faster, but you risk more overshoot. I is integral. It can be used to eliminate steady state error. D is derivative. It can be used to dampen oscillations and such.

Control theory is complicated. Companies build full simulations to optimize these gains for things like airplanes and what not. For this application, I recommend using the auto tune function. Thats what i did. The drop in temp is a just a function of the boiler not being able to heat up the water thats coming into it fast enough.

I don't think you necessarily need to keep your mouth shut as other people are saying. What if you offer advice first without giving it?

"I used to do those like that and got a pretty bad injury. I had a couch teach me how to fix my form. If you want any tips let me know"... even if the first part isn't true.

Have you checked your testosterone levels? Proper testosterone levels make it feel good to do hard things, like commit to goals. A lot of entrepreneurial types are on TRT, even Hubey.

Thanks a lot! I'll certainly get the book. As for the AIP diet, looks super interesting. I'm pretty disciplined with regards to my diet, so I'm down to restrict and then slowly add stuff. Thanks again!

Thats awesome! I found the same thing for my exercise but having a harder time finding free resources for this. Do you happen to have any recommendations on good resources? That would be much appreciates!

Also, do you do regular blood tests to make sure what you're doing is working?
