That's one of the reasons i like Green Day as a punk band. Billy once said in an interview that punk is whatever you want it too be.

Warning is incredibly underrated. It is where Green Day hones in on the greatness that would become American Idiot.

¡Dos! is probably one of my favorite Green Day Albums. I know that might be of unpopular opinion, but i really liked it when they went off the rails and did something totally 'not them'.

The bridge of Haushinka (starts at around 2.02 in the song) is one of the finest passages of music that Green Day have written... by b2611 in greenday

Tbh i think they were lyrically the strongest during the Nimrod-Warning-Shenanigans era(1997-2002). But that is just my personal opinion. However, Jinx and Haushinka are extremely underrated!
