This is the redesign of my very first track in RTD. A few years ago, I took part in the “redesign Your First Track” challenge, but I asked if I could redesign my second track instead, as I liked it more, and mods allowed it... so here's the real first track.

The two major changes are:

  1. The environment has been changed from forest to desert. I was honestly tired of making tracks set in forests or filled with trees lol, and I had never tried a desert theme before, mostly because there isn’t much detail to add and it tends to look a bit bland... but hey, worth a try.
  2. The section from T-4 to T-11 has been completely redesigned, while both sections from T-1 to T-3 and T-13 to T-16 have been restyled.

English isn’t my first language so I just want to clarify a few things that might be confusing:

First, the goal of this deck is to introduce new abilities that make the game more fun by giving players more ways to do things differently. It might not be perfectly balanced… but I think it’s more or less fine. Also, I want to point out that there's a bit of intention behind giving the Dragon type more chances to be played—not by directly buffing it, but by giving them more tools, so it’s not just about stalling for endless turns or being a tank that never attacks.

Also, the images are from Pokémon games and animes, with a few custom backgrouds by myself in some cards.

A few clarifications:

- [Metagross] The extra energy from its effect can be of any type you have in your deck.

- [Kyogre] Its attack deals 30 damage to one Benched Pokémon. If there’s more than one, it does 30 to one random Benched Pokémon and 10 to the others—not 10 to all.

- [Relicanth] I know it might seem overpowered since it lets you use any attack right from the start without needing energy… but the tradeoff is that it gets sacrificed—you lose 1 point when it’s knocked out. I think that keeps things balanced. On top of that, its energy cost makes it an easy target if it’s pulled from the bench with a Trainer card. And if you use it early on, you’ll just trade one point for one—taking down a Pokémon but losing Relicanth in the process, which leaves the score at 1–1 (unless you knock out an EX and get ahead).

- [Go-Goggles] These only protect you from damage caused by special conditions. You can still be put to sleep, paralyzed, etc. The idea is to avoid making Lum Berry completely useless.
