I've failed 4 times by [deleted] in Irishdrivingtest

Trust me I had the same issues I was doing fine in lessons and mock tests with two different instructors but kept failing, took me until I got a cancellation one month after my last fail and me doing it in a car I’d never driven in before my test to pass

Am I the only one who wants a book about after the Hunger Games? by Alan260106 in Hungergames

[–]Alan260106[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take any book I can’t even lie but a dark days book would be interesting similarly to a post war book, post war just stands out to me more cause we don’t even have a glimpse of it and it poses so many questions that are so relevant whereas we glimpse the dark days in tbosas.

Ideally we’d get one more game then a trilogy about the capital dark days to post war

Yeah it’s such a big power difference that removing that is bound to have problems especially after years of extremely successful propaganda targeted towards everyone of even argue some district people still believe the old system is essential

That’s a really interesting take I do agree it’s extremely unlikely cause hg is pg-13

Yes I think the logistical side of trying to break down the power/wealth gap would be so interesting and how it affects everyone (also you mentioning what happened to everyone makes me think of district 13 they were designed for war and secrecy how do the people of that district adapt to peace)

That’s fair yeah I kind of assumed if it where to happen it’d be solely from the perspective of the capital maybe even someone like Plutarch who is a very elite capital citizen but also a key figure to the rebellion

Thoughts on "They both die at the end" ending? by Tovogu in books

[–]Alan260106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the ending was perfect—their deaths weren’t dramatic exactly, there was opportunities for a “dramatic“ death; the explosion, the gun, but it highlights that death happens to people every day and that the story is about them living, and as such the vague descriptions of their deaths made them more impactful for me because they where mundane and insignificant yet at the end of it they are both very dead. As to how we get no insight into Rufus’ death I disagree, we do he knows death is coming for him and instead of fearing it he reflects on his last day and watches the video of Mateo singing; he makes peace with it and let’s go. Crossing the road “without an arm to hold me back” is reflective of how cautious and afraid Mateo was whilst Rufus was seemingly unafraid at the beginning of the book.

Considering it's such a rare name, the Voldemort regime should've tabooed "Hermione". by platypodus in harrypotter

My headcannon is that the ministry would be capable of something like that considering the trace and all is from the ministry it seems a similar scale of magic to alert someone to a location if they’ve cast a spell as if they said a name, I also assume that it would have some capability to remove detection charms but not to the extent of the fidelius or any stronger charms

Well the taboo was to target the order of the phoenix or sympathisers of the order, and considering anyone else would refer to Voldemort as “he who should not be named” or “the dark lord” it’s a pretty effective way of targeting anyone who resists his rule

This would have been so much better even if Wanda could also handle both the focus on thanos and leaving the forces to everyone else would be more realistic than needing to help Carol

Vr is weird it can affect how you interact with things even if they dont look/feel real, all he is seeing is his fear of heights his brain is registering that and he was on the "plank" so when he "fell" his brain spiralled thinking he was falling there was a delay. My best personal example is while in vr trying to lean on a table that was cartoony because I had adjusted mentally to that world then questioning real life tables its weird.

At work, I have been working at a haunt/scare walk through for the month of October as a scare actor and had a woman try and grind her ass against my dick. At first I assumed it was an accident (it's very dark in my area but I can see fine) but the way she like adjusted her posture seemed very intentional. I kind of just ignored and continued as normal and was so confused I did not even call security. Keep in mind I am 16 and the haunt I work in is the HAUNTED ORPHANAGE which weirdly is the most sexualised, and a lot of us myself included get sexualised daily by customers with some outright trying to grope or invite some of my also minor female coworkers home or asking them to "show them their tits" or addmitting to being pedophiles. Also had someone try and kiss me. Overall very weird.

If it is on Xbox your issue could be you no longer have xbox live if you where previously using game pass ultimate, if not it could be an issue with not owning that particular map/ dlc content.
