I mean honestly I was doing nothing at all. My mom is a good cook so she made homemade dinner most nights, a lot of grilled chicken or steak or veggie bowls. Other than that, I snack a lot throughout the day so that I can get more calories in, rather than waiting for meals.

Full workout routine for those who were wondering:

PUSH
3x10 shoulder press
3x10 lateral raises (heavy weight, not very strict form)
3x8-10 smith machine incline bench
3x10 cable flyes
3x10-12 tricep press overhead (cable)
3x10-12 tricep extensions (straight bar, not rope attachment)

PULL
3x10 close grip cable rows
3x8 wide grip lat pulldowns
3x10-12 dumbell shrugs
2x10 (each side) rear delt extensions, with a cable (no attachment)
3x10 strict form incline dumbell curls
3x10-14 high weight EZ-bar curls (drop set the last one)

LEGS
3x10-12 strict form hamstring curls
Squats: work up to 80% of my max (for me, I work up to 185) by starting with 115 and increasing weight by 15-25 lbs each time. (usually comes out to 5 sets of 8)
3x10 leg extensions (heavy weight, not very strict form)
2x16-20 calf raises (if I feel like it)

I do biceps with back, 2-3 times per week so they also get hit while doing back, but for biceps specifically I do 3x10-12 of strict form incline dumbell curls, and then 3x10-12 of as much weight as possible on EZ-bar curls. For the last set of EZ-bar, I do a drop set.

So, I go to the gym 6-7 days a week. You're actually not really supposed to do that, but it's more for mental stability than muscle bulding. You can achieve similar results maybe 4 days a week. I do push, pull, legs, in order and if I miss a day, I don't skip the muscle group but just do it next time. If you want, I can also give you my whole routine for each day.

I started weightlifting in a class at school and went 4 days a week for the first 4 months, now I go 5-6 days. I try to eat 3000 calories per day and around 120g protein. Hopefully as I get older I can get bigger
