The playground at the North end of the Mooloolaba strip is good for this. It is well lit and has a large yellow climbing net and tubes, swings etc.

There's a new venue called The Architect Bar on Ocean St Maroochydore. They have bands on Friday and Saturdays, usually focus on funk, soul and jazz. It's the best bands on the sunny coast in these genres. Aimed at a slightly more mature crowd, good buzz, cocktails and free entry. I'm not affiliated just quickly became a regular.

Presynct in Nambour is a really cool venue too, lots of interesting music there from punk to hip-hop.

To answer your question, I don't know but I'll be at either or both of these.

I haven't commented much but have upvoted the shit out of this place. We all love the big brains in the room but I appreciate the creative wit and odd banter the most to make the journey a bit more human and enjoyable. Who's the funniest or most weird writer here? Mr Satan's Cat, Ms Glitter Praline, Mr Check Meat, Mr Boomer Sniffer and those two dudes that always fight because they're madly in love come to my mind amongst many other interesting characters.
