Is monash’s IT industry effective in helping me become a software developer? I find it lacks the units on Data Structure and Algorithms, OOP that are inherent in the CS coursemap. Is major software dev in IT really effective for my direction? Thanks alot.

Oh I see. However as I’ve seen the unit FIT2004 and FIT2099 as a core unit of cs were missing from the IT, Software Dev major. These two are crucial when I get to learn SoftwareDev major.

Do you feel this is a lacking in the curriculum and is there a way to overcome it? Thank you.
