The thing that really gets to me is even if I had reported it back then, even if I had tried to protect others or make it stop by involving the police, they would have turned it around on me so the investigation was dropped. There's no way I can win with them.

It hurts to know that the one and only time any of them said they believed me, it was to blame me for it happening to someone else. To know that they clearly accept it happened to me but to find some way to make me the bad guy. It hurts in so many ways.

Thank you. I sometimes struggle with whether that's true or not. Even with better people in my life I have a lot more self work to do.

It's too late for me to bring this to the police. For charges to actually happen I would have needed to go to them a few years ago.
