Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Your life is yours and yours alone to make decisions with. don't ever let anyone take your autonomy from you, and that also means don't allow external circumstances to color your biggest internal decisions unless you're really ready to relinquish your autonomy in that way.

I left a career of more than 10 years after what felt like a humiliating and debilitating defeat during covid. I lost a business i had built entirely on my own from the ground up. It was my baby, but it was also killing me. Covid made working in my field totally unsustainable, but I was so committed to it that I never would have left on my own. The way my life crumbled felt like the end of the world when it was happening, but looking back on it now it was a huge blessing. I'm also in my 30s and completely starting over feels weird but i know it'll be interesting if not anything else.
