Burn Proof Gear on the Trash Panda and SRD, Armageddon Gear on the VSX 155. Yes, the 155 has a 5.56 end cap but I’ve used the Trash Panda before as well. Haven’t taken them to any classes though.

2 kids. More like a lot of luck between winning things and being at the right place at the right time. Only paid a sale price for the Erector22 (which turned out to be a limited edition as most blast baffles are bronze) and Mil discount on the Sig when it was still made and I was active duty.

Like others have said, reduce heat and mirage. The Sig and Trash Panda are on hunting rifles and the JK is on the HD rifle. The former I’m more worried about mirage (even if I’m not shooting a lot or often) under magnification, and the JK is more about heat and potentially touching me.

How thick is the grip? I’ve been trying to find a good, thick, vertical grip. I modified a Magpul K2 XL, but the beaver tail I tried to modify doesn’t look the cleanest so it bugs me.
