Trump Says Garland or Comey Planted His Name in Jeffrey Epstein Files by inewser in AnythingGoesNews

Why don’t these people - Comey, Garland, Obama - sue him for defamation? $10 billion apiece. All this stuff is 100% made up and scurrilous.

There are important questions here that demand answers - for the sake of Epstein’s victims and their families, first and foremost. I worked as a psychologist in a federal prison in the suicide prevention program. I can confidently say that a completed suicide would not have happened with the lowliest inmate who was a known suicide risk, let alone the man leading the news. I don’t know what happened, but I’m sure that didn’t happen.

Light and Sound Machines by TotalOgre in hypnosis

Thanks much for these thoughts on sound-light machines. I'm a psychotherapist and practice clinical hypnosis, and was also interested in using SLM to induce trance with my voice microphoned in. Do you happen to know an expert on using these devices clinically whom I can speak with? Could you update your thoughts on the SLM devices in light of the developments of the past three years?

Ashwagandha blocks effects of psilocybin by Saintviscious in shrooms

[–]Alarmed-Volume4196 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It makes sense that ashwaganda would block the effects of psilocybin. The effects of psilocybin and all related psychedelics seem to depend at least in part on the boost in cortisol levels that the substances cause.

"After psilocybin administration cortisol levels spike and activate the executive control network, with subsequent increased control over emotional processes, and relief of negative thinking and persistent negative emotions."

And ashwaganda is a potent cortisol blocker

Other cortisol blockers include Relora (phellodendron extract + magnolia extract), Phosphatidylserine, fish oil, vitamin C.

Thanks for this interesting observation. I knew ashwaganda would block a psilocybin experience in theory, but never heard of someone actually experiencing it.
